I really do not like the weather at this moment. Boooooring!

Here are some pictures I took today when I had to walk home.

Seriously, I hate it.

Do not watch this video if you are older than 20. Afterwards you will feel twice your age. This clip shows children from a school in Québec who gets presented with certain objects that embody the 80′s and 90′s, and subsequently have to figure out the use of them. Especially a little kid gets an epiphany when he discovers the method of scratching.

I just saw the movie Drive this weekend. Really beautiful pictures with beautifully contrasting colours (the warm yellow><the cold blue. The streetlights><the dark night). There is also a big contrast in the tempo and that is what makes this film quite interesting. A well directed film by Nicolas Winding Refn and a well played main role by Ryan Gosling.

Driver: If I drive for you, you give me a time and a place. I give you a five-minute window, anything happens in that five minutes and I’m yours no matter what. I don’t sit in while you’re running it down; I don’t carry a gun… I drive.

Hello you! (from the movie Crazy Stupid Love)

Hello handsome looking man! (from the cover of GQ January 2011)

I must admint that I did appriciate the 100 minutes I spend with Ryan Gosling. He is definitely not ugly.

I also forgot to mention the soundtrack. It’s nice, listen:

Dave DeVries has made a book/a demonstration/a lecture/a gallery exhibition called The Monster Engine. The theme of it is: What would a child’s drawing look like if it were painted realistically? You’ll find the answer right here:

This little movie has a fascinating little story about the Australian girl who begins writing letters to a slightly overweight New Yorker with Aspergers Syndrome. When you follow the 8-year old Mary you’ll see the claymation movie in sepia-tones. When we see Max in New York City, the movie is in black and white. It is done so beautifully with the red colour as the single “true colour” in both parts of the world.

Mary and Max is a 2009 Australian claymation film with a voice cast that includes Eric Bana and Philip Seymour Hoffman.

Go see it. You might learn something.

Cock, dick, penis, willy, weener,  phallos… what more is there to say?

Somewhere behind the clouds the sky is always blue and if you’re lucky there might as well be rainbow!

It was my birthday 13th of July and the weather wasn’t exactly perfect. A little sun, a little rain, but hey, that equals a rainbow, right? Anyway, here is a couple of things with many colours that definitely will make you smile:

I pretend this was my birthday cake

...and this one

A slice

More slices

You know shit can happens, right?

Not really sure what this is, but it is pretty...

... It looks weird

Lunch anyone?

Haute Couture

A gay-looking house

But ofcourse!

And I must not forget this awfully jolly guy.

I just bought a Mac vinyl decal (sort of a big sticker) for my computer. I love Disney, so why not a Snow White sticker?

But there are so many other as you can see:

Awww.... this is the one I bought

Can you crack the code?

Ceci n'est pas une pomme

And of course there is something for the Twihards...

A little tad divine

I guess someone was hungry

Beard and moustache

Dazed away

I made this little something for a coworker of mine. I used a picture of her as a inspiration, but with some modifications. She was only flipping the bird once, but why not go all in? So now it is a double fuck – biaaaatch!

I made some magic in Photoshop. The yellowish picture is before. Black/white is after

Some close up details

Do you know Steve Buscemi?… He’s the guy with the tired eyes in movies like The Big Lebowski, Armageddon, Reservoir Dogs, Big Fish and Pulp Fiction. But I don’t think you have met his sisters. May I introduce:

The always chatty Oprah Winfrey

The maneating Angelina Jolie

The colourfull singer Pink

The talented actress Natalie Portman

The First Lady of the United States, Michelle Obama

The not-so-adorable Anne Hathaway

The diva Christina Aguilera

The girl who has an umbrella-ella-ella

The good ol' Audry Hepburn
